Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Tuesday’s open by 1.05% or 130 points to the level of 12,563.7 points.
By 10:35 am Cairo time, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices also went up 0.56%, 0.51 %, and 1.37%, to reach 586.7, 1,347.2, and 2,028.7 points, respectively.
Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 5.7 million and EGP 1.2 million, respectively, while foreigners were net sellers with EGP 6.9 million.
Trading volume reached 28.3 million shares while liquidity amounted to EGP 84 million through executing 3,300 transactions.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) ascended 0.65% to EGP 74.1.
Top gainers were Amer Group, GMC Group, Egyptian Resorts, and Emaar Misr, with rates ranging from 3.7% to 2.4%, while Orascom Construction (OCI) fell 2.09% to EGP 107.
