EGX30 slides below 11,350 pts at Tuesday's close

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red territory as the main EGX30 index slid by 1.07% to end at 11,337 points.

In the meantime, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.38% to 2,219 points, while the EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.93% to 3,247 points.

Likewise, the EGX50 EWI fell by 0.5% to close the mid-week session at 2,231 points.

The market cap value dropped by EGP 5.4 billion to register EGP 691.361 billion.

Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 22.13 million, while local and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 14.7 million and EGP 7.38 million, respectively.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.18 billion after 468.8 million shares were exchanged through around 40,700 transactions.
