Mubasher: US crude oil inventories decreased last week, according to the data released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
According to EIA US oil stocks declined by 2.9 million barrels in the week ended 30 September, compared to a 1.88 million barrel decrease the week before.
This comes contrary to the experts’ expectations of a 2.7 million barrel increase.
After these data were revealed, NYMEX crude prices for November delivery went up by 1.66% to $49.5 per barrel, Brent Crude also grew 1.45% to $51.61 pb.
