Mubasher: The US natural gas stocks declined in the week that ended 18 November, as shown by the data of the American Energy Information Administration (EIA) released on Wednesday.
Contrary to expectations, natural gas inventories decreased by 2 billion cubic feet to 4.045 trillion cubic feet compared to 4.047 trillion in the week before.
Natural gas inventories were expected to increase by around 5 million cubic feet.
This marks the first decline for the American gas stocks after 15 weeks of increase, as the last fall was reported on 28 July.
