Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries (EIPICO) on Tuesday reported a 29.3% rise in profits in the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.
The company's net profits reached EGP 117.5 million ($13.23 million) in Q2-16, compared to EGP 95.3 million ($10.73 million) in Q2-15.
In the six-month period of 2016, net profits levelled up 31.11% to EGP 234.09 million from EGP 178.54 million in the year-ago period.
Net sales increased 11.07% to EGP 962.5 million in Q2-16 from EGP 866.6 million in Q2-15.
Standalone profits reached EGP 99.23 million in the three-month period of 2016.
