Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKH) reported a 13.4% year-on-year hike in its consolidated profit during the first quarter of 2019.
The firm’s net profits amounted to $28.79 million in Q1-19, up from $25.37 million during Q1-18, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
Revenues grew to $134.89 million in the first three months of this year, compared to $112.87 million in the same months of 2018.
Year-on-year, EKH’s standalone profits surged to $8.36 million in Q1-19 from $2.8 million.
In 2018, EKH’s profits fell to $95.11 million, compared to $118.7 million a year ago.
