Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) swung from losses into profits during the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016/17, a Tuesday's bourse statement revealed.
The media producer registered EGP 11.43 million profits in the second quarter against EGP 1.67 million losses for the year-ago quarter.
In the first six months, the company earned EGP 17.76 million, compared with EGP 10.45 million for the first half of 2015/16.
H1 revenues increased 1.7% year-on-year to EGP 167.87 million from EGP 165 million.
The stock quote rose 0.8% to EGP 2.48 on Tuesday by 12:21pm Cairo time.
