Dubai-Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) awarded engineering procurement and construction contract to French oil services company Technip, according to a statement.
Under the contract, Technip will expand ENOC’s Jebel Ali refinery by 50%, raising its daily capacity to 210,000 barrels from its current 140,000 barrel.
The expansion project is estimated at about AED 3.67 billion ($1 billion), the statement said, adding that the expected date for commercial production is the fourth quarter of 2019.
