Dubai - Mubasher: ENOC Group has inaugurated a new service station at Al Marmoum First highway on Dubai-Al Ain Road to serve the upcoming and nearby communities on a total area of 72,743 square feet.
The opening of the new station came as part of ENOC’s expansion plans to build 54 stations by 2020, 16 of which are projected to be operational this year, the UAE-based company stated on Tuesday.
The new station comprises Vapour Recovery System (VRS) to prevent emissions to the environment, full LED lights to save energy consumption by 50%, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology for the air conditioning system to save 35% of energy consumption.
“For the last 25 years, ENOC Group has been fuelling the nation’s energy needs and the opening of the new service station falls within our long-term strategy to increase our UAE footprint by 40%,” ENOC’s Group CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi said.
The station’s dispensers are built with retractable hoses to enable refuelling of cars from both sides, in order to reduce waiting periods, the state-owned energy giant revealed.
ENOC offers its new station’s visitors a variety of services provided by ZOOM convenience store, Salik, Pronto, McDonald's – along with an ATM, a cafeteria, and a Prayer Room.
