UAE - Mubasher: ENOC Group has renewed its agreement with Wardieh Holdings, an oil and energy group, to support its jet fuel marketing to airlines and operations in Lebanon.
Under an eight-year partnership, ENOC markets jet fuel in Lebanon and offers technical services assistance to Wardieh, which owns and operates gasoline stations, according to a press release on Wednesday.
Since 1995, ENOC has worked with local oil companies at international airports to market its jet fuel and currently provides jet fuel to over 200 airports.
The Group CEO of ENOC Group, Saif Humaid Al Falasi, said: "Despite the aftermath of the pandemic on the aviation sector, readiness and preparedness measures are of paramount importance to facilitate a gradual recovery for the sector."
The General Manager and CEO of Wardieh Holdings, Hani Al Shuwaeir, commented: "Having realized that one of the major strengths to our success was the aviation business, we partnered with ENOC and together we achieved great results; recording 43% uplift in fuel from international airlines at Beirut International Airport."
