ENOC to build RAK Auto Village

Dubai - Mubasher: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) on Wednesday unveiled plans to build the largest comprehensive retail outlet in Ras Al Khaimah in partnership with the General Resources Authority (GRA) in the emirate.

Spanning 50,000 square metres, the new project, named RAK Auto Village, will comprise a Tasjeel facility for vehicle testing and registration needs, in addition to a service station, and retail outlets, according to a company statement.

RAK Auto Village is planned to have the capacity to serve over 1,000 vehicles daily, ENOC added.

“The growing demand for service stations and vehicle testing facilities is directly linked to the country’s rapid population growth,” said ENOC CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi.

“We are happy to announce this collaboration which emphasises our commitment to provide our customers with the best and highest service standards,” Major General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated.

ENOC’s unit, Tasjeel, will conduct the required mandatory tests for vehicle registration, the UAE-based company concluded.
