Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Railways for Track Renewal and Maintenance Company (ERTRAC) reported net profits of EGP 41 million in 2019, up from EGP 23 million in the prior year, minister of transportation Kamel El-Wazir said.
Over the course of 2019, ERTRAC renewed 33 kilometres (km) of railways and installed 97 railroad switches, El-Wazir added in a statement on Tuesday.
In addition, the company also conducted mechanical maintenance for 1,444 km of railways and 628 railroad switches.
