UAE - Mubasher: Emirates Authority for standardization & metrology (ESMA) announced it will showcase three major projects based on technology and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts at the GITEX Technology Week 2019.
These projects will include the unified platform for the registration of UAV and AV products and the smart application of the Federal Manaa system as well as upgrades of the authority’s website, according to a press release.
The authority will present new creative and smart AI-based chat service at its website to interact with customers seemingly, ESMA noted.
ESMA also provided its customers with smart applications and channels that allow them to submit applications, follow-up, pay fees, and download certificates issued, linked to the happiness index of the UAE Prime Minister Office, linked to the e-Dirham and digital identity, the authority highlighted.
These projects come in line with ESMA’s strategic objectives to encourage innovation and continuous interaction with the requirements of the "smart government".
Abdulla Abdul Qader Al Maeeni, ESMA’s director-general, described the GITEX Technology Week as “one of the most prominent national and regional platforms,” saying “We will showcase the most prominent technical experiences that facilitate the work of ESMA partners and achieve the highest rates of happiness for customers.”
It is worth noting that the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week 2019 takes place from 6 to 10 October 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
