Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Swedish Welding Electrodes Company (ESWECO) plans to launch 18 new production lines next year with EGP 450 million in investments.
The company aims to raise its production capacity to 15,000 tonnes per annum by launching the new lines, chairman Yasser Ibrahim told Alborsa News.
ESWECO also seeks to boost production of coated electrodes through operating two new lines, in addition to another three working lines that produce 1,200 tonnes per month, to reach a total of five production lines with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes a month, he added.
The chairman noted that the company has only one line for wire reel spindles production with a capacity ranging between 800 and 1,000 tonnes per annum.
