Cairo – Mubasher: The European Union (EU) provides Egypt with a $500 million funding as part of a finance strategy until 2020, the country’s investment minister Sahar Nasr said in a statement on Monday.
The funding will be directed to water, wastewater treatment, civil society, vocational training, administrative reform, international trade, cultural heritage, and public finance sectors, Nasr added.
Under the EU’s funding plan, priority will be given to youth empowerment projects in the upcoming period, she noted.
