Riyadh-Mubasher: The European Union (EU) said on Sunday that Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and all airline companies licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be prevented from flying to Europe if they do not apply FAA’s working time system, Makkah newspaper reported.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) addressed the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to apply the working time system, but GACA delayed it several times as the operators requested a grace period until the middle of 2016 to overcome the relevant difficulties, including the decrease in number of passengers.
