UAE – Mubasher: The European Union finance ministers are expected to remove the UAE from the list of tax havens during their meeting on 10 October, according to Reuters.
The GCC country is set to be removed from the EU’s tax havens list due to the adoption of new rules on offshore structures during September.
In December 2017, the EU set up a blacklist and a grey list of tax havens which is regularly reviewed to add or remove jurisdictions.
