Cairo – Mubasher: Eagle Capital has announced acquiring the Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima’s stake in Egyptian Media Group.
This takeover represents the company’s first investment deal, chairperson and former investment minister of Egypt Dalia Khorshid said in a statement.
It is worth mentioning that Egyptian Media Group is the owner of ON Television Network and other media institutions in Egypt.
In 2016, Egyptian Media Group had signed an agreement with FEP Capital to manage the company’s restructuring plan to offer a stake in an initial public offering on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
