Riyadh-Mubasher: Eastern Province Cement posted net income of SAR 92 million for the fourth quarter of 2015, rising 16.5% compared with SAR 79 million in the same period last year.
The cement producer attributed Q4 profit growth to higher sales and lower general and administrative expenses.
Net income for the 12-month period fell 10% year-on-year from SAR 374 million to SAR 337 million.
The profit decline was due to the one-off earnings recorded from investment sales in 2014, the company said.
