Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Co has denied reports about a potential increase in cigarette prices.
If the company ever decided to up the prices, it will notify the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Egypt's monopoly cigarette maker said, according to a bourse statement.
News reports revealed earlier that the Egyptian tobacco company would raise cigarette prices by a maximum amount of EGP 3.25 per pack.
