Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Co. reported a 10% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its net profits, registering EGP 1.163 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year 2020/2021, compared to EGP 1.059 billion.
The tobacco manufacturer achieved revenues of EGP 3.954 billion in the July-September period, up from EGP 3.71 billion in the year-ago period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
During FY19/21, the company registered net profits of EGP 3.794 billion, slightly up from EGP 3.733 billion a year earlier.
