Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s cigarette maker Eastern Company (Eastern Tobacco) denied filing a lawsuit against Arabian Company for Trading (ACT), according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
"These news reports are untrue", said the company, clarifying the only lawsuit brought is the one no 43716/69 due to the use of a trademark similar to Eastern Tobacco's.
The stock quote slightly rose 0.03% to EGP 212.07 with 36,990 traded shares at EGP 7.8 million on Monday.
