Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Company’s profits for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017 increased by 66% to EGP 450 million, versus EGP 271 million for Q3-15/16.
Net profit for the first nine months of FY16/17 grew 24% to EGP 1.34 billion, compared to EGP 1.08 billion for the same period last year, according to a bourse filing released on Wednesday.
Revenues for the nine-month period rose to EGP 7.8 billion from EGP 5.7 billion for the same period of the previous year.
The stock ascended on Monday by 0.02% to EGP 220.
