Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s cigarette maker Eastern Company (Eastern Tobacco) reported an increase of 38.1% in net profits for the first six months of the fiscal year 2015/16.
The company’s profits climbed to EGP 809 million in H1-FY15/16, from EGP 586 million for the similar period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, the company’s revenues grew 12.5% in H1-FY15/16 to EGP 3.8 billion compared with EGP 3.4 billion for the same period a year earlier.
