Cairo – Mubasher: Eaton announced a long-term partnership with the Egyptian Manufacturing and Advanced System (EMAS), a subsidiary of Elsewedy Industries Group, in Egypt.
The partnership is aimed at boosting the presence of Eaton’s electrical product portfolio, including low-and medium-voltage switchgear systems, across the country, according to a statement on Tuesday.
EMAS and Eaton, through this partnership, support key sectors, including buildings, industrial applications, and utilities.
The agreement will allow Eaton’s power distribution sector achieve its localisation plan in Egypt, which would strengthen the company’s growth in the region, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Eaton Power Distribution Division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Fernando Ceccarelli, said.
This new partnership will foster the position of EMAS in the Egyptian market and will provide new growth opportunities as Eaton offers world-class products, Managing Director of EMAS, Mohamed Attia, noted.
