Cairo - Mubasher: Edita Food Industries will raise the price of its products by 20% to 50%, the company’s public relations manager, Menna Shams El Din, told Mubasher on Wednesday.
Edita is trying to adapt to the exchange rates fluctuations, and to maintain its productivity in the upcoming period, added the investor relations and business development manager.
Shams El Din noted that there has been a price increase across most of Edita’s products by EGP 0.5, she also said that the company is going through with its investment plan to build a new factory in 6 October industrial zone, but she added that Edita is currently revaluating the cost of investment.
Edita dominates the biggest share in the Egyptian snack market.
