Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of industry and trade, Tarek Kabil, said that Egypt’s trade volume with Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) has almost reached $20 billion in 2016.
China comes at the top of Egypt’s trade relations with the BRICS countries with a total trade volume of $10.98 billion, Kabil said in a statement.
Egypt’s trade volume with Russia stood at $3.07 billion, followed by India with a total trade volume of $3.02 billion, he revealed.
Moreover, he noted that trade volume between Egypt and Brazil totalled $2.77 billion, while trade volume between Egypt and South Africa amounted to $266 million.
