Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s government will seal 20 investment agreements and MoUs with French companies during the upcoming official visit of French President François Hollande to Cairo next Sunday, announced Fouad Nounis, head of the Egyptian-French Business Council.
He told Mubasher that those agreements will be in renewable energy, transportation, training, water and sewage as well as infrastructure projects in Suez Canal Corridor.
However, Nounis did not disclose more details about the size of such agreements.
Hollande, who will head a delegation of 60 businessmen, will open along with his Egyptian counterpart the Egyptian French Business Forum on Monday, at the presence of around 400 Egyptian businessmen.
France’s investments in Egypt reach 3.2 billion euro till the end of 2014, said Nounis, adding that the year 2015 did not witness much French investments.
