Cairo – Mubasher: The National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany’s ATB Water in sewage treatment plants technology.
Under the MoU, the two countries will cooperate in sewage treatment by sequencing batch reactors (SBRs), which use biological treatment, according to a statement released on Thursday.
Water purified through SBRs has a variety of applications, managing director Markus Baumann stated.
SBR system is one of the economical and effective options for water treatment, Baumann added.
