Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's minister of state for military production Mohamed Saeed El-Assar has explored opportunities for cooperation with Germany’s Rohde & Schwarz in the field of manufacturing security gates and baggage scanners.
The Egyptian government previously cooperated with the German firm in manufacturing telecommunication devices at Benha Electronics (Factory 144), El-Assar said in a statement on Wednesday.
Benha Electronics has produced 20,000 wireless telecommunication devices to date in cooperation with US, German, French, and Norwegian companies, he added.
The factory affiliated to the ministry of military production has production lines of security gates, baggage scanners, surveillance cameras, and handheld metal detectors.
