Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Berlin-based Siemens AG to improve the Egyptian industry’s competitiveness skills.
The MoU was signed by the trade and industry ministry with the attendance of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Upon the agreement, the German industrial conglomerate will provide Egypt with the state-of-the-art solutions and techniques in the digital transformation and automation field, according to a presidential statement.
Siemens will also help in the training field in a bid to boost the abilities of workers and build competencies in the Egyptian industrial sector.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the G20 Conference on Africa, currently being held in the German capital, Berlin.
