Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt and Greece agreed to form a joint working group to step up economic cooperation over the coming period, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said in a statement on Wednesday .
The Egyptian ministry and Greece’s Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism will determine the fields of collaboration between both countries.

Over the course of 2018, bilateral trade between Egypt and Greece hiked 37.5% to EUR 1.8 billion, compared to EUR 1.3 billion a year ago, Amr Nassar added.
Egypt’s exports to Greece increased by 15.3% year-on-year to EUR 640 million in 2018.
