Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt and India have agreed on boosting the intra-trade between the two countries, according to a recent statement made by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
The mutual trade is expected to increase to $8 billion on an annual basis as compared to the current level of $3 billion.
The two countries have agreed to promote trade and economic cooperation, the statement added.
“52 Indian companies are now working in Egypt with total investments of around $3 billion and the bilateral trade is about $5 billion annually,” according to the India’s Economics Times.
