Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian and Russian governments will sign a deal on Monday to establish a new Russian industrial zone in the Suez Canal economic zone, a source in the Suez Canal Authority told Reuters.
Signing the agreement will be during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Cairo tomorrow.
The Russian zone will span across five million square meters with investments totalling $7 billion over te next ten years, starting from 2018.
It is was also reported that during tomorrow’s visit, Egyptian President Abd Elfattah El-Sisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are expected to sign the deal on the Dabaa nuclear plant project.
