Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of trade and industry said on Friday that the ministry has finalised the overall details and view for the new integrated industrial city that will be located in Fayoum, according to a statement.
The deal for the construction of the new city will be signed with Singapore-based holding company in the near future, Tarek Kabil revealed.
Spanning 33 million square metres, the new city will entail several high added-value industrial projects in various fields as well as an integrated residential complex, the minister highlighted.
The minster met with a delegation from the company to carry out the final touches to the contract and project, the statement showed.
This new project will act as an integrated industrial role model not only on the local level but also on both the regional and global levels, the minister noted.
