Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation has signed a $500 million loan with the World Bank to finance a local development programme in Upper Egypt, according to a press release.
The ministry is cooperating with its partners to prepare a number of developmental programmes in Egyptian areas that in need the most, especially in Sinai and upper Egypt, said Minister Sahar Nasr.
The programme aims at rising economic growth rates, and creating a sustainable development based on supporting the private sector to create more job opportunities, through the enhancement of business environment and the improvement of infrastructure.
