Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently in conversation with the World Bank to get $1 billion for the development of Sinai.
Sinai development project will include an integrated area with suitable educational classes and a number of water desalination stations, Egyptian investment minister Sahar Nasr said during a press conference.
On 23 April, the minister had invited the World Bank to participate in Sinai development project.
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) had previously approved KWD 825,000 ($2.8 million) in grants to Egypt for Sinai development.
