Egypt Aluminum files with EGX for capital hike

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) said it received a disclosure report from Egypt Aluminum where it requests to secure the bourse approval regarding raising its issued capital to EGP 550 million.

The company will hold an extraordinary general meeting to discuss increasing its issued capital from EGP 500 million to EGP 550 million up by EGP 50 million distributed across 12.5 million shares.

The capital hike will effected through the distribution of bonus shares.

Egypt Aluminum reported net profits of EGP 84.8 million in the fiscal year 2015-2016, down from EGP 165 million a year earlier.
