Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum logged a net a loss of EGP57.71 million in the first nine months of 2015/16 against a net profit of EGP104.04 million for the year-ago period, the company said in a bourse filing.
Its sales also declined by 7% year-on-year for the same period to EGP3.64 billion from EGP3.89 billion.
Earlier, Egypt Aluminum estimated a net loss of EGP227 million in 2016/17, compared to EGP 164 million losses estimated for the fiscal year 2015/16.
In the first half of FY15/16, the firm posted EGP 43.7 million losses, against EGP51.3 million profits for the year-ago period.
