Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum reported on Monday a net profit of EGP 726.9 million for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016, against a net loss of EGP 48.5 million for the same period last year.
The company turned to profitability in the first half of fiscal 2016 with a net profit of EGP 755.7 million, compared to a net loss of EGP 43.7 million for fiscal 2015.
Total revenues for fiscal 2016/17 amounted to EGP 3.78 billion, 56.8% up from EGP 2.41 billion for fiscal 2015/16, according to a bourse filing.
The stock closed yesterday at EGP 14.46, rising 3.51%.
