Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Aluminum reported a 179% increase in its unaudited profits for the fourth quarter of 2015/16, according to a bourse filing.
Q4 net profits thus reached EGP 223.2 million ($25.2 million), compared with EGP 80 million ($9 million) for the year-ago period.
Over the fiscal year 2015/16, unaudited net profits declined 11% year-over-year to EGP 165 million ($18.6 million) from EGP 184 million ($20.8 million)
Earnings per share stood at EGP 1.32 in 2015/16 against EGP 1.47 a year earlier.
Revenues also went down to EGP 5 billion in the year ended 30 June, from EGP 5.3 billion last year.
Over the first nine months, the company logged EGP 57.71 million losses.
