Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Thursday that the returns on 182-day and 364-day bills have reached EGP 21.3 billion.
The average return on 182-day treasury bills registered 16.38%, with a total turnover of EGP 9.25 billion.
Meanwhile, the average return on 364-day treasury bills hit 15.87%, with a total turnover of EGP 12.05 billion, the CBE’s data showed.
Egyptian debt instruments, particularly T-bills, are attractive to many foreign investors on the back of the rising yields on the bonds.
