Egypt-China Trade Fair kicks off 21 September

Cairo – Mubasher: The fifth edition of the Egypt-China Trade Fair will take place at the Cairo International Convention Centre for three days as of 21 September.

The fair will be held under the supervision of the Egyptian investment and international cooperation ministry and the Chinese Embassy in Cairo.

The Egyptian-Chinese fair will be inaugurated by chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Ahmed El Wakil and the Chinese ambassador to Cairo Song Aiguo.

The three-day event will feature 300 Chinese investors who represent the largest Chinese and global companies, according to a press release.

The anticipated fair aims at transferring the Chinese technology to Egypt and signing deals that benefit traders and workers from both countries within the framework of a mutual strategy to turn Egypt into a logistic hub for exporting Chinese products to the African and Middle Eastern countries.

The fair will tackle discussions regarding mutual investments in the fields of ready-made clothing, textiles, sanitary fittings, electronics, house appliances, construction equipment, luminaries, machines, production lines, renewable energies, power generators, and food and metal industries.
