Cairo – Mubasher: Bilateral trade between Egypt and China increased by 10.34% year-on-year (YoY) to $14.56 billion in 2020, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Monday, citing official data from China’s Ministry of Commerce.
Chinese exports to Egypt registered $13.64 billion last year, an increase of 11.83% on an annual basis, data showed.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s exports to China fell by 7.84% YoY to $920 million over the course of 2020.
Egypt has become China’s 49th top trade partner as of December 2020.
