Cairo – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and China reached $5.4 billion during the first five months of 2019, the Chinese ambassador to Egypt, Liao Li Qiang, said, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
Chinese investments in Egypt reached $7 billion after ballooned in the first quarter, he added.
Bilateral relations between both countries have seen considerable progress under Belt and Road Initiative and Egypt Vision 2030, Li Qiang stated.
The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) signed a cooperation protocol with China’s Fuji Sino Elevators Company for the transfer and local adaptation of technology.
