Cairo – Mubasher: Trade exchange between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) grew in 2017 to $6.78 billion, Egyptian trade minister said.
Egyptian imports from the EAEU stood at $6.24 billion, whereas the exports reached $544,700, Amr Nassar highlighted in a statement on Monday.
This came on the sideline of signing the framework of the free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations between Egypt and the EAEU.
The FTA signed will double trade exchange between the two parties to record $15.7 billion, as well as boost the Egyptian exports to the EAEU to $1.9 billion, Nassar stressed.
