Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Free Shops’ consolidated profits for the second quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017 rose by 227.4% to EGP 49.48 million from EGP 15.11 million for Q2-15/16.
Foreign exchange earnings amounted to EGP 40.36 million for Q2-16/17, compared to EGP 1.7 million for Q2-15/16.
Standalone profits increased in Q2-16/17 by 221.8% year-on-year, according to a bourse filing released on Monday.
In the first half of FY16/17, consolidated profits reached EGP 61.23 million, up 106.3% from EGP 29.67 million for H1-15/16.
Foreign exchange profits reached EGP 42.04 million in the first half of FY16/17, compared to EGP 2.6 million for H1-15/16.
