Egypt Free Shops sees 84% profit rise on higher sales in Q1

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Free Shops Company on Wednesday reported an 84% surge in net profits for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2017/2018 due to the increase in sales.

The company’s net profits nearly doubled to EGP 21.03 million in the three-month period ended 30 September 2017, from EGP 11.42 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Sales grew to EGP 94.9 million in Q1-17/18 versus EGP 77.8 million in the comparative period of 2016.
