Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited financial indicators of Egypt Gas showed a 9.66% year-on-year rise in profits for 2017.
Net profit reached EGP 28.73 million in 2017, versus EGP 26.2 million a year earlier, excluding taxes, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
Revenues grew to EGP 1.76 billion last year, compared to revenues of more than EGP 1.5 billion in 2016.
Egypt Gas highlighted in another statement that it has delivered gas to 32 new factories in 2017, increasing its clients to around 1.100 facilities.
