Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt Gas announced turning into profitability during the first quarter of 2019.
The company’s net profits amounted to EGP 8.92 million in the three-month period ended 31 March, against a loss of EGP 13.54 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, revenues rose to EGP 606.94 million in Q1-19, compared to EGP 397.33 million in Q1-18.
For the full-year 2018, the Egyptian gas firm’s net profit stood at EGP 35.16 million from EGP 25.6 million in the previous year.
